MMM: Mothers

 

 I made this art journal page for my music art journal.(Its with all songs that meant something special to me) This is the song Believer- Viva Voce from the Vampire Diaries.  Its also with a picture of Maria, so i think it fits perfectly with the theme Mixed Media Monday has this week: MOTHERS.

The background is made with lots of layers of pattern paper, colored with patina, then a layer of gel medium on it, and when its still wet, i wrote the lyrics in it. Then let it dry, and finished it with another layer of patina. Rubbed in the letters and the rest wiped away. then you get this effect. 

Heb deze art journal page gemaakt voor mijn muzikale art journal, met allemaal liedjes die op de een of andere manier iets voor mij betekenen. 

Dit is de letter B en een nummer van Viva Voce- Believer. Het plaatje van Maria komt van internet en daarom vond ik het zo goed passen bij het thema van deze week van Mixed Media Monday: MOTHERS.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met diverse lagen papier, patina, heel veel gel medium. Terwijl de gel medium nog nat is, schrijf je er de tekst in, en vervolgens moet het heel goed drogen. Dan een laat patina, die je extra goed in de letters wrijft, en dan haal je het overtollige eraf. Het bovenstaande is dan het resultaat.

Onder Music Art journal vind je nog een nieuwe art journal page met de B Bevlogen als vogels van de 3js.
